LEAH's 40th Anniversary Celebrations

We celebrated our 40th anniversary with a special event at the Rose Theatre on 13th June 2023.  We were joined by the Mayors of Kingston upon Thames and Richmond upon Thames as well as nearly 100 volunteers, funders, referrers, charity partners and supporters.  

With introductions from our Director, Abby Holliday, as well as Chair of Trustees, Sharon Landa, we also heard from several of our volunteers and clients about the positive impact of our English language support service. As one of our invitees told us “it’s so wonderful to see LEAH go from strength to strength”. 

The Rt Hon Ed Davey, Liberal Democrat MP for Kingston & Surbiton, and Leader of the Liberal Democrats, sent a congratulatory message to LEAH and all our wonderful volunteers.

We are very grateful to all those who attended and look forward to another 40 years of providing English language support to those most in need.
